This Privacy Policy explains how Swapify collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use Swapify — our website, web app, and AI generation features. Because Swapify works with photos of people, we take your privacy seriously and try to keep this policy in plain language.

1. Information we collect

• Account information. Your name, email address, and authentication details when you create an account, plus plan and billing status.
• Uploaded photos and prompts. The selfies and other images you upload, along with the prompts, effects, and settings you choose to generate Outputs.
• Generated Outputs. The photos and videos Swapify creates for you.
• Usage data. How you interact with the Service, such as features used, credits spent, device and browser type, approximate location derived from IP, and diagnostic logs.
• Payment data. When you buy credits or a subscription, our payment processor handles your card details — we receive only limited information such as the last digits and transaction status.

2. How we use your information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the Service and your account.
• To generate the Outputs you request from your uploads.
• To process payments, credits, and subscriptions.
• To secure the Service, prevent abuse, and enforce our Terms and Content Policy.
• To improve features and quality, troubleshoot issues, and develop new functionality.
• To communicate with you about your account, updates, and support requests.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. AI processing and retention of uploads and outputs

To create your Outputs, your uploaded photos are processed by generative AI systems. We aim to retain uploads only as long as needed to deliver and support the Service. Outputs are stored in your account so you can access your creations until you delete them or close your account. We do not sell your photos, and we work to limit the use of your uploaded images to providing the Service to you.

4. Third-party processors

We rely on trusted service providers to operate Swapify, and we share only what they need to perform their function on our behalf:

• Generation providers that run the AI models used to create Outputs.
• Payment processors that handle billing and subscriptions.
• Cloud hosting and storage providers that store your data securely.
• Analytics and error-monitoring tools that help us understand usage and fix problems.

6. How we share data

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the processors described above, when required by law or valid legal process, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (in which case we will notify you of any material change to how your data is handled).

We use technical and organizational measures such as encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep your information safe.

You can manage much of your data from your account settings, or contact us at support@swapify.link to exercise your rights. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

Swapify is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us information without appropriate consent, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

10. International transfers

We may process and store data in countries other than where you live. When we transfer data across borders, we use appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law to protect your information.

11. Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
