Gender Reveal Smoke Burst Video at Golden Hour

About the Gender Reveal Smoke Burst Video effect

The clip opens with the couple outdoors, fingers on the trigger, smiling in anticipation before any smoke appears. Then the canister fires and thick color billows up and drifts around them, glowing where the low sun hits it from behind. The preview frame catches the reaction, with only a faint haze left in the air: a man in a black tee and a woman with golden curls in a dark top, hugging and laughing with their eyes squeezed shut, a sunlit grassy field and a few blurred onlookers behind them. The camera arcs around the pair and pushes in.

Use this gender reveal video to announce the result after a private moment, to include relatives who couldn't be at the party, or to recreate the shot when the real gender reveal smoke cannon fizzled. The Gender Reveal Baby Portrait imagines the baby; this one is about the two of you and the burst of color.

Set the color by editing the prompt to say "pink smoke" or "blue smoke"; leaving both lets the AI pick. Faces and outfits are kept from your photo.

Photo tips for Gender Reveal Smoke Burst Video

• Both faces should be clear, front-facing and unobstructed, ideally from daylight photos where you stand at a similar distance from the camera.
• Daytime or golden-hour photos match the warm backlit scene best; nighttime flash photos clash with the setting.
• Natural, expressive smiles carry into the laughing, joyful reaction, while stiff, posed expressions make the surprise feel less real.

Frequently asked questions

How do I choose pink or blue?

Edit the prompt where it says "pink or blue smoke" and keep only the color you want. If you leave both, the AI chooses, which can be a fun surprise for you, but not a reliable announcement.

Can I make it before we know the baby's sex?

Yes, as a teaser or to try out the look. Just remember the smoke color in the prompt is the one shown, so for the real announcement, set it to match your actual result.

Does it work with a single person or a family?

The prompt is written for a couple, and that's what it does best. A single parent or a small family can still try it; the AI adapts the scene, but the embrace is designed for two people.
