Pet Cuddle Moment on a Sunlit Sofa

About the Pet Cuddle Moment effect

You sit tucked into the corner of a soft, neutral sofa next to a tall window, a knit throw over the cushions and green plants out of focus behind you. A fluffy golden puppy rests against your chest; you hold it close and gently rub behind its ears. Low evening sun lights one side of your face and the puppy's fur, with soft shadows elsewhere. The picture sways a little, as if someone on the armchair is filming, and the sharp spot moves from your eyes to the puppy's nose and back to you.

It is meant for wholesome, feel-good moments rather than fashion. Most effects in Fashion & Lifestyle show off an outfit; this one is about companionship and calm. Puppy cuddles like these make a sweet message for a fellow dog lover, a gentle post for a slow Sunday, or a daydream for anyone counting down to bringing a puppy home.

The puppy is generated from the prompt, so it will not be your own pet. You can edit the breed, color or age in the prompt, for example a black lab or a small white terrier.

Photo tips for Pet Cuddle Moment

• Use a selfie with a soft, warm smile and relaxed eyes; the clip is tender and calm, so a big laugh can look out of place.
• A photo with your head tilted slightly downward suits the pose, because you spend most of the clip looking toward the puppy.
• Pick a picture taken in natural daylight; the scene is lit by a low sun, and cold office lighting on your face can clash.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use a photo of my own dog?

The effect only takes your selfie. The puppy is created from the prompt, so it will look like a generic golden retriever rather than your pet. Describing your dog's breed, color and markings in the prompt gets closer, but it will not be an exact match.

Can I change the breed?

Yes. Replace 'golden retriever puppy' in the prompt with another breed, such as a corgi or a beagle, or even a fluffy kitten if you prefer cats. Keep words like sleepy and relaxed so the cuddle stays gentle.

Can it be a grown dog instead of a puppy?

Yes. Change 'puppy' in the prompt to an adult dog, for example a calm adult golden retriever. A large dog will likely lean against you or rest its head on your lap instead of fitting in your arms, so the cuddle looks a little different.
